Vintage Design
This pair of chairs were designed especially for the head office of The Swedish Engineering Compound (Sveriges Verkstadsförening) in Stockholm in the early 1960s. Anders Tengbom was the architect for the quite well documented building, in which some of the furniture was designed by Sven Kai Larsen and produced by the craftsmen at the Nordiska Kompaniet workshop in Nyköping, Sweden. To this day it is not known how many chairs of this model were produced and how many have survived. The frame is made of teak with black leather upholstery to the seat and back. This pair is in a very good untouched original condition with light patina.
