Classic French Empire escritoire or desk. Crafted from mahogany with ormolu fittings. Great space saving piece as both a desk and a chest of drawers. We date this to circa 1880. Bought from a dealer on March Biron at Paris antiques markets. Offered in great shape, ready for home use right away.
