Vintage Design

Incisa, designed by Vico Magistretti, is a swivel armchair on wheels with outer cowhide cover, like a saddle. Hand stitching adorns the back and sides, forming soft curves, precious to the touch. The comfortable padded inner covering, with cotton trim, can be removed and easily cleaned thanks to a zipper.

Vico Magistretti (1920-2006) was an influential Italian architect and designer. Known for his functional and innovative approach, Magistretti’s designs seamlessly combined aesthetics with practicality. He created iconic furniture pieces such as the “Carimate” chair and “Eclisse” lamp, which have become design classics. Magistretti’s work was characterized by clean lines, simplicity, and attention to detail. He received numerous awards throughout his career, including the prestigious Compasso d’Oro.
