Vintage Design
The elegant Kai Kristiansen executive desk in rare for Danish mid-century modern design, walnut wood and veneer, was manufactured by Feldballe’s Møbelfabrik in the 1960s.
This freestanding desk model FM 60 features a floating top, six drawers in the front and three cabinets at the reverse, one lockable with the original key included, and two sides open spaces. The carved drawer pulls in Kristiansen’s trademark eyelid design, slim legs and frame are made out of solid teak. It shows extremely beautiful and profound wood grain.
Overall the desk is in nearly perfect condition, preserved with additional coats of Danish oil. The drawers are clean and work smoothly.
