Front legs with circular section while the back with rectangular section.
Archetto under the seat with triple curvature.
The seat like all Antonio Volpe chairs have the curvature joint welded with 12mm double pins.
The seat has giant rhombus Vienna straw inquanto in addition to classic seating can be used as a support for eventual upholstery padding. ( see photo )
You can see the high school of the masters of wood bending being the chair made of blond beech and on all bends there is not a break.
It is no coincidence that some of Antonio Volpe’s models until recently were attributed to Hoffmann ( see the rocking chair ) for his high professionalism of wood bending and innovative Design.
Restored with shellac according to period criteria and Volpe method. Straw in excellent condition.
